How To Create Online Videos That Sell Your Products And Services

October 29, 2008

If you have been spending any time on the Internet then I am sure you have noticed the huge rise in popularity of video on the web. I recently had the privilege of taking a four-week online training course called, Web Video University, that teaches you how to create online videos from start to finish.

The focus of the training is to teach you how to create videos that sell. In my opinion, the course keeps it’s promise.

The only real problem I had with the course is that the training uses Sony Vegas as the editing tool of choice. In and of itself that’s not really a problem. The problem is that I would have liked to see other tools (especially Camtasia) discussed in regards to making the videos.

However, that problem is outweighed by all the fantastic information revealed in the training, including:

  • The best tools for creating professional quality video

  • Your best choices for video equipment and cheapest alternatives to create high quality video

  • How to properly light and film your videos

  • How to create your own blue screen and teleprompter

  • The optimum lengths and times to use for various aspects of your video

  • The best methods of using videos to sell your products and services

  • How to get your marketing message across with video

  • How to edit your video for that perfect look and feel

  • and much more

Going through the 4 week course at Web Video University, I learned quite a bit about creating video. Overall, I was very impressed with the depth of the lessons on making videos that sell. I highly recommend Web Video University to anyone who wants to learn how to make online videos to market their products or services.

I intend to add video to some of my sites in the coming year, and the information I learned
from web video university should prove to make the process easier and more profitable. The price is extremely reasonable, and the training is excellent, so…

My Review Of Rich Schefren’s The Uncertainty Syndrome

September 23, 2008

I just finished reading Rich Schefren’s latest free report, “The Uncertainty Syndrome“. This is my really, really, really quick review of it:

The Uncertainty Syndrome” is an AWESOME read! In this report, Rich reveals some big constraints that keep you from making more money online. Constraint # 4 was a big problem for me and I found the exact solution to fix my problem on page 39 of “The Uncertainty Syndrome“. In fact, I am immediately going to implement the solution on page 39 of the report, because it will make a HUGE difference in my bottom line.

If you haven’t already read the report, I highly recommend you go download it now by clicking here!

Quick Review of Internet Marketing Sins Part 2

September 8, 2008

Sylvie Fortin has released part 2 of her FREE Internet marketing sins” ebook and it is definitely worth a read. In part 2 of the ebook, Sylvie discusses five more “sins” being made by Internet marketers.

Sin number 4 – “Cult Leaders” struck a cord with me, because I have noticed more and more bloggers appear on the scene with this “trait”. In fact, over the years I have noticed more and more people with this trait. It is something I have been contemplating writing about because I think it is something you should avoid to maintain your integrity.

Anyway, you should definitely “click here to check out part 2 of Internet marketing sins“, it is well worth your time to read.

Review Of Stomping The Search Engines 2.0 and The Net Effect

September 6, 2008

I just got back from a short hiatus and I can’t really say that I missed the Internet all the much. In fact, I had an AWESOME time and look forward to getting away from it all again.

Anyway, I am a bit late on this, but I wanted to quickly let you know my thoughts on “The Net Effect and Stomping the Search Engines 2”.

The Net Effect Review

The Net Effect is an Internet marketing magazine put out by the folks at StomperNet. The articles in the magazine were loaded with good information for beginners and those new to making money online. In my opinion, the best feature of the magazine is at the end. At the end of every magazine there is an action plan for implementing what you learn in the magazine. The action plan sets “the Net Effect” apart from many of the other internet marketing magazines/newsletters that I have subscribed to and I expect many people to copy this model in the future.

Overall, I recommend The Net Effect for newbies looking for solid information on Internet marketing.

The BONUS

When you sign up for the free trial version of the Net Effect, you can also get a copy of the Stomping The Search Engines 2. All you do is pay for the cost of shipping and handling. Since you will be getting both products for shipping and handling here are my quick thoughts on Stomping the Search Engines 2:

Review of Stomping The Search Engines 2.0

Stomping the Search Engines 2.0 has excellent information on how to increase your Search Engine traffic.

Stomping the Search Engines 2 is EXTREMELY different from the first version of Stomping the Search Engines. The biggest difference is that version 1 was all audio and version 2 is a video course. Additionally, it is NEW and therefore covers the most up to date Search Engine strategies for getting high rankings.

Just like The Net Effect, Stomping the Search Engines version 2 is a good product for beginners.

If you are an advanced level marketer your time will be better spent on continuing to build your business. However, I do recommend that beginners go check out this deal, because the price for the first edition of The Net Effect and Stomping The Search Engines 2.0 is definitely worth it.

Tired Of Internet Marketing Scams – Here’s The Cure

May 28, 2008

I just finished reading Scott Boulch’s latest FREE ebook “The Internet Marketing Cure” and it is a very good read. In his free ebook, Scott discusses some of the techniques being used by Internet marketers to scam people out of money, how these techniques are hurting the industry, and how to find good Internet marketing teachers. At the end of the The Internet Marketing Cure Scott reveals an online business model that will help you make big money online.

I highly recommend that you check out Scott’s free ebook to learn how to avoid Internet marketing scams. I do get 50 cents for every person who downloads the free ebook using my affiliate link.

To use my affiliate link and download the ebook, click here to download the Internet Marketing Cure report.

Here is a link WITHOUT my affiliate code (I won’t make money from it, but I want you to read it anyway):

Disclaimer: I might be slightly biased in recommending this ebook, since my friend Austin is very close friends with Keith Baxter one of Scott’s business partners.

Review Of The SEO Book Training Program

May 14, 2008

What do I think about Aaron Wall’s SEO Book?

I have been meaning to review Aaron Wall’s SEO book ever since I interviewed Aaron last year. I am finally getting around to it.

First of all I want to say it’s REALLY, REALLY loaded with information! His ebook had over 300 pages and his training program has more information than his ebook ever had.

The SEO Book training program covers A LOT more than just Search Engine Optimization. In addition to SEO, the SEO Book covers:

  • Copywriting

  • Social Marketing

  • Website Usability

  • Website Monetization

  • Blogging

  • and more!

Aaron uses a combination of articles and videos to teach you how to rank high in the Search engines. He also teaches you just about everything imaginable about marketing a product or service.

Not only that, but the SEO Book has a private online community where you can ask and answer questions of both Aaron and other members of his program. The community really blew me away. I have been a member of many paid online communities and none of them were as good as the one that Aaron runs. The most amazing thing to me about the community is how active Aaron is in it. The last time I checked Aaron Wall had 2,799 posts (16.26 posts per day). If you want to get direct advice from Aaron then you should sign up soon, because I just don’t see how Aaron can continue to be so active on his forum and continue to take on new members. It doesn’t seem like a very scalable business model to me.

Anyway, if you are new to online marketing or you want a great place to learn about online marketing (especially SEO) then I recommend that you click here to join the SEO Book Training Program. It is one of the best deals on the Internet for beginners to learn how to make money online.

How To Make Your Own Ebook

May 4, 2008

Disclaimer: I need to start by saying that my opinion on this ebook is going to be slightly biased, since the writer of “The Ebook Walkthrough” (Ryan Ambrose) is also one of the writers for my blog.

That said, I am going to give you a quick review of Ryan’s book “The Ebook Walkthrough“.

In his ebook, Ryan walks you though the process of creating an ebook from start to finish. He explains what tools you will need, how to use those tools to create an ebook, and how to make money with your ebook.

The Ebook Walkthrough lives up to it’s promise. It reveals exactly how to write and publish your own ebook in clear, simple and easy to implement steps. I would recommend this ebook to anyone that wants to learn how to create their very own ebook.

The Reese Report Review

October 19, 2007

Wow, where do I start?

John Reese is an Internet marketing genius who has been making tons of money online for a very long time. If anyone’s site should be ranked number 1 for the term “make money online” it would be his.

I have been a Reese Report subscriber now since March of 2007 and I LOVE THE REESE REPORT! Did I say that loud enough?

If I could have access to ONLY one Internet marketing product it would be the Reese Report.

Every month John puts out a new edition of the Reese report and every month my brain absorbs everything he has to say.

What Do You Get When You Join?

The Reese Report is a monthly subscription site that offers a monthly video newsletter and pdf file. You also get a CD with the newsletter video and printed copy of the pdf that goes with the video newsletter.

John lays out his newsletter with a new lesson every month. Each newsletter includes:

  • An in-depth Monthly Internet marketing Lesson

  • Hot New Tool Reviews

  • Website Marketing Make Overs

  • Virtual Real Estate Ideas

  • Info product Ideas

  • and more…

His site also includes a membership forum where you can ask questions and get good answers from members, moderators, and John himself.

Once John releases his paid membership section of income.com, Reese Report subscribers will be grandfathered in and will get both the Reese Report and the income.com membership for the same price as the Reese Report alone. I am really looking forward to that!

If you aren’t already a member, then click here to download a free preview of the Reese Report. Check it out and let me know what you think…

The IM-Myth Report By Russell Brunson

October 4, 2007

I meant to mention earlier this week that I got an email from Russell Brunson about a new report he has released called the IM-Myth Report. I haven’t finished reading it yet, but so far it is a very good read (I am about half way through it). In the report, Russell reveals how offline marketing has made a huge difference in his online success.

The other cool thing about the report is that you can make money online from this report by letting other people know about it. When they download the report using your affiliate link you earn a dollar. Russell is using the same technique that Scott Boulch introduced to the Internet Marketing community when he released (and others copied) “The Death of Adsense Report“. It seems like a great technique for building a list… if you have the money to pay for that many people to join your list.

Anyway, I suggest you go check it out and pass it along to your friends if you like it.

Here’s Why You Should Try The Affiliate Classroom

July 11, 2007

After going through the Stompernet trial, I decided to compare it to other membership programs that I have tested out. There were two membership programs that I felt beat the pants off stompernet in terms of bang for your buck. One of the programs is the Affiliate Classroom (the other is Easy Profit Auctions).

Here’s the deal. The Affiliate Classroom gives you everything you need to succeed as an affiliate marketer.

They have recently revamped the Affiliate Classroom to make it even better than when I first I checked it out. One of the best new features they have added is a complete step by step online system for creating successful affiliate sites. This brand new system even tracks your progress all the way through and you can use the system for as many projects as you want. In my opinion, it is a perfect way for beginners to start making money online.

My personal favorite part of the Affiliate Classroom is the case studies. The case studies review various affiliate marketing products/techniques and give honest feedback on their results. If you join the Affiliate Classroom, you have to read the case studies. They are VERY helpful.

Another thing I like are the monthly interviews. They provide lots of solid Internet Marketing information in the monthly interviews.

The Affiliate Classroom also has live conference calls, which I found to be very unique and definitely excellent for beginners.

It also provides free ebooks and information that teaches you everything from HTML to Search Engine Optimization. With all the tutorials and books available in the Affiliate Classroom, a beginner really has everything they need to start up a successful affiliate marketing business.

You can ask questions directly to the affiliate classroom coaches or you can ask questions on the private forum and get back answers directly from the owner Anik Signal.

If you are new to affiliate marketing, I suggest that before joining the Affiliate Classroom you read through the free sitesell book The Affiliate Masters Course. Then if you are still interested in affiliate marketing, but you feel like you need more help and/or personal coaching, then you should join the Affiliate Classroom.

While there are some pretty interesting tidbits of information for seasoned affiliate marketers, I think the Affiliate Classroom is best suited for beginners and intermediate level affiliate marketers. However, if you’ve been online for a while making money in other ways, but you’re ready to add affiliate marketing to your arsenal, this product would definitely make it easier to make that transition.

The price is pretty awesome, especially for a program that is loaded with so much information. Right now, you can get a 2 week trial membership for a dollar. That’s a pretty hard deal to pass up…
