What do I think about Aaron Wall’s SEO Book?

I have been meaning to review Aaron Wall’s SEO book ever since I interviewed Aaron last year. I am finally getting around to it.

First of all I want to say it’s REALLY, REALLY loaded with information! His ebook had over 300 pages and his training program has more information than his ebook ever had.

The SEO Book training program covers A LOT more than just Search Engine Optimization. In addition to SEO, the SEO Book covers:

• Copywriting


• Social Marketing


• Website Usability


• Website Monetization


• Blogging


• and more!

Aaron uses a combination of articles and videos to teach you how to rank high in the Search engines. He also teaches you just about everything imaginable about marketing a product or service.

Not only that, but the SEO Book has a private online community where you can ask and answer questions of both Aaron and other members of his program. The community really blew me away. I have been a member of many paid online communities and none of them were as good as the one that Aaron runs. The most amazing thing to me about the community is how active Aaron is in it. The last time I checked Aaron Wall had 2,799 posts (16.26 posts per day). If you want to get direct advice from Aaron then you should sign up soon, because I just don’t see how Aaron can continue to be so active on his forum and continue to take on new members. It doesn’t seem like a very scalable business model to me.

Wow, where do I start?

The IM-Myth Report By Russell Brunson

I meant to mention earlier this week that I got an email from Russell Brunson about a new report he has released called the IM-Myth Report. I haven’t finished reading it yet, but so far it is a very good read (I am about half way through it). In the report, Russell reveals how offline marketing has made a huge difference in his online success.

The other cool thing about the report is that you can make money online from this report by letting other people know about it. When they download the report using your affiliate link you earn a dollar. Russell is using the same technique that Scott Boulch introduced to the Internet Marketing community when he released (and others copied) “The Death of Adsense Report“. It seems like a great technique for building a list… if you have the money to pay for that many people to join your list.

Here’s Why You Should Try The Affiliate Classroom

After going through the Stompernet trial, I decided to compare it to other membership programs that I have tested out. There were two membership programs that I felt beat the pants off stompernet in terms of bang for your buck. One of the programs is the Affiliate Classroom (the other is Easy Profit Auctions).

Here’s the deal. The Affiliate Classroom gives you everything you need to succeed as an affiliate marketer.

They have recently revamped the Affiliate Classroom to make it even better than when I first I checked it out. One of the best new features they have added is a complete step by step online system for creating successful affiliate sites. This brand new system even tracks your progress all the way through and you can use the system for as many projects as you want. In my opinion, it is a perfect way for beginners to start making money online.

My personal favorite part of the Affiliate Classroom is the case studies. The case studies review various affiliate marketing products/techniques and give honest feedback on their results. If you join the Affiliate Classroom, you have to read the case studies. They are VERY helpful.

Another thing I like are the monthly interviews. They provide lots of solid Internet Marketing information in the monthly interviews.

The Affiliate Classroom also has live conference calls, which I found to be very unique and definitely excellent for beginners.

It also provides free ebooks and information that teaches you everything from HTML to Search Engine Optimization. With all the tutorials and books available in the Affiliate Classroom, a beginner really has everything they need to start up a successful affiliate marketing business.

You can ask questions directly to the affiliate classroom coaches or you can ask questions on the private forum and get back answers directly from the owner Anik Signal.

If you are new to affiliate marketing, I suggest that before joining the Affiliate Classroom you read through the free sitesell book The Affiliate Masters Course. Then if you are still interested in affiliate marketing, but you feel like you need more help and/or personal coaching, then you should join the Affiliate Classroom.

While there are some pretty interesting tidbits of information for seasoned affiliate marketers, I think the Affiliate Classroom is best suited for beginners and intermediate level affiliate marketers. However, if you’ve been online for a while making money in other ways, but you’re ready to add affiliate marketing to your arsenal, this product would definitely make it easier to make that transition.

The price is pretty awesome, especially for a program that is loaded with so much information. Right now, you can get a 2 week trial membership for a dollar. That’s a pretty hard deal to pass up…

StomperNet Review - What Did I Think Of The Trial Membership?

I went into the StomperNet trial knowing that I already had specific plans to grow my online business. I was hoping that whatever StomperNet offered to the trial members would help me achieve MY plan faster.

StomperNet wasn’t exactly what I expected…

Unfortunately, the StomperNet members didn’t have access to ALL of the Stomper material. The advanced materials (which I needed) were made available with limited access. That made it pretty hard for me to determine if I would get anything out of their full blown membership.

That said, they did let trial members test drive a system they call SIMPLE (Specific Instructional Methodology for People to Learn Ebusiness). SIMPLE is designed to help begginners start a web business in a matter of thirty days. As they say on the stomper blog:

StomperSIMPLE is a ground-breaking system to take you from NO idea
to a NEW Internet business in thirty days. All of the StomperNet
faculty are going to pull out EVERY stop to get you up and running.

After looking through most of the SIMPLE materials, I am fairly confident that people who follow every step of the program will succeed at making some good money. One of my Stompernet trial team members, Andrea Yager, is still testing out the SIMPLE program. I am looking forward to seeing her results. However, I really hope her SIMPLE testing gets delayed by making it into the final 12 of the Next Internet Millionare. That would be cool!

The coolest part of the program was splitting up into teams and networking/working with your fellow team members. Even though I am no longer part of Stomper, I really hope to keep in touch with my former team members. I could really see each of us benefiting from each other’s areas of expertise.

I think StomperNet is best suited for beginners who have some prior experience in the online world. I think that people who have an intermediate level of experience might benefit from it as well. However, as a trial member it was really hard to tell how beneficial the advanced materials were going to be.

I think it is very difficult to make a site that appeals to beginner, intermediate, and advanced visitors in ANY market. Maybe even more so in the Internet marketing world.

Before leaving they did give us two options for joining. One was to pay a smaller monthly fee ($97/month) which gave us access to the SIMPLE materials and the SIMPLE forum. The other option was to go with the full membership. For me personally, the SIMPLE program was not something that I really needed. On the other hand, the advanced videos and teachings might prove useful to me.

My suggestion to the Stomper ownership is to split StomperNet into 3 levels. Each level with it’s own price of admission. Each level offering various benefits to it’s membership. The highest price would be for the beginners, who should get full access to the program. That way they can grow at their own pace. Once they feel like they only need the advanced material they can switch to the advanced mode for a reduced price. The advanced mode woudl be the second option. Advanced users might only have access to the advanced videos, but not to the rest of the site (forums, tools, etc). The third option would be gaining access to the SIMPLE program at a reduced price. I am sure there are other ways that StomperNet could split it’s program up that might work even better.

All in all, I think that StomperNet is a solid program for learning how to make money online. Based on the way that the staff quickly responded to the needs of the trial members, my guess is that it will improve quite a bit every year.

My Internet Marketing Review of Easy Profit Auctions

While I was in Florida, I got an offer from Alex Jeffreys to take a look at Easy Profit Auctions (aff). Now, let me start this off by saying that I am not really interested in getting involved in selling products on ebay. However, after taking a look at Alex’s product, I am having serious second thoughts about that.

So here’s the deal…

Through tons of trial and error, Alex discovered a system of making money through ebay by building email lists, selling products, and selling products on the back-end to his list. His system is rather interesting and definitely worth looking at, especially if you are interested in selling ebooks and/or other products.

He also has some great audios, videos, and a private membership forum. There was one tip in his audio interview with Jason James that I would have paid at least 100 dollars for. It was something I have been wondering about for a long while.

Of all the products I have reviewed in recent times, Easy Profit Auctions hand’s down gives you the most bang for your buck. Based on other products I have bought and/or reviewed I would say that Alex should be charging around 1000 dollars for a lifetime membership, but he is only charging a one time fee of $97 dollars for a lifetime membership.

My guess is that Alex will change over to a monthly membership fee soon, because his membership site is WAY underpriced.

Normally, at this stage in my review I would tell you what I didn’t like about the product, but quite frankly I am having a hard time doing that. I guess Alex could have made more audios, and videos for the site, but since he is working on doing just that I can’t really think of a downside to Easy Profit Auctions.

JV Cash - Ebook Review

If you want to make momey online, one of the best ways to jumpstart your business is through the RIGHT joint ventures. While I was on vacation in florida, I had several joint venture offers. One of them was an ebook about joint ventures called JV Cash…Anytime.

The author is a homeschooling Dad (like me), so I had to check it out. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. JV Cash…Anytime is a really good read.

In JV Cash…Anytime Rob Richards reveals some of the best ways to find joint venture partners and avoid costly mistakes along the way.

I think that anyone wanting to understand the fundamentals of Joint Ventures would do well to read this ebook.

Internet Maketing Review - Instant Web Profits Sytem

One of the things that you told me in one of my polls is that you want me to review more Internet Marketing products. So I have decided to give you what you want…

A few months ago, I purchased a new Internet Marketing course called “Instant Web Profits System” by Dan Lok. Dan has created a niche for himself in copywriting as “The Website Conversion Expert”.

For starters, I get a really good vibe from Dan Lok. His staff has always given prompt answers to my questions and they were always very upbeat and positive. Dan strikes as me as someone whose truly desires to help people make money online.

As for “Instant Web Profits Systems“, I wanted to start by letting you know what this course is not:

• It is not a course on blogging


• 
  It is not a course on making money with Adsense
• It is not a course on Affiliate Marketing


• 
  It is not a course on making money without raising a finger

The purpose of this course is to reveal how to increase the online sales of your products and/or services.

I SO wish I had this product when I was starting out. I know it would have made a HUGE difference in the success of the first product I created.

The one thing I don’t like about the course is Dan’s occasional use of colorful language. However, many times in the course it did help him get across the importance of the message he was conveying.

For the most part, it is NOT a step by step guide. With one exception…

The step by step CD that gives you the 11 steps for creating a winning sales letter. I can see how following the 11 steps that Dan reveals in this course can produce an awesome sales letter. I will certainly follow them the next time I need to create a sales letter.

There is a lot of excellent business and Internet Marketing advice in the audio CDs, much of which you can use even as an affiliate marketer or blogger.

What is included in the Instant Web Profit System?

It includes:

• 4 audio CDs that reveal 101 Ways To Make Your Website SELL Like Crazy!
• 2 audio CDs that reveal How To Avoid The Deadly Mistakes That Can KILL Your Online Business!

I found these videos to be worth the price of the whole package. I have seen free videos on these topics that don’t come anywhere near the quality and depth that these videos go into. I strongly recommend them to anyone who wants to learn how to sell a product or service.

The audio CDs were sprinkled with some Internet Marketing advice that I haven’t heard too many people talk about outside of products that you have to pay for. Here are some (not all) of the main topics discussed in the audio CDs:

Internet Marketing is NOT DEAD!

Just so you know, I really like Mike Filsaime’s new free ebook.

However, I think the title is misleading. Obviously, Internet Marketing is NOT dead. If it were then Mike would be quitting and he is not.

There is a ton of money to be made on the net with all kinds of sites (blogs, wikis, forums, download sites, affiliate marketing, Adsense, ebooks, services, copywriting, seo, web design, software, games, membership sites, Internet Marketing, drop shipping, etc). There are all kinds of statistics out there about how fast the Internet is growing and how much money consumers will spend on the net.

So if you are trying to make money online, don’t worry. There is plenty of money to be made on the web and just like Google Adsense, Internet Marketing is NOT DEAD!

I just wanted to make sure I was clear about that.

That said, “The Death of Internet Marketing” is still a good read.

My Review of The Death of Internet Marketing

I finished reading “The Death of Internet Marketing” by Mike Filsaime. Here’s what I think about the book…

WOW!

There was a section of the book (starting on page 39) that provided one of those “ah ha” moments for me. What’s great is that my wife Jill recently gave me a bunch of ideas that fit right into what Mike talks about in that section. Jill sure is blessed with a good head on her shoulders.

Anyway, suffice it to say that I really, really, like the book.

“The Death of Internet Marketing” is well worth the read, even if you aren’t planning on making money from it. Some of the concepts that Mike talks about really hit home for me.

Instant Adsense Templates vs. SBI

Anna commented on a previous post about this article that compares Joel Comm’s Instant Adsense Templates with Ken Envoy’s SBI. It is an interesting comparison, but I think it’s comparing apples with oranges.

Ken Envoy’s SBI is a great way to get started making money. It is basically, a suped up web host. Along with web hosting, there are built in templates, tools and ebooks to help you make money on the net. As I have said before, I love all his free ebooks and think they are must read for newbies.

On the other hand, Instant Adsense Templates are templates designed to maximize the money you can make from Adsense. There is a ton of other stuff Joel is throwing in, like private label rights ebooks, 400 pages of content, etc…

The big differences between SBI and Instant Adsense Templates is that SBI provides web hosting and incredible tools. Whereas Instant Adsense Templates provides tons of templates (way more than SBI) and tons of free content.

If I were to buy Instant Adsense Templates it would be primarily for the free content, and the custom templates that I could use with the web host of my choosing. If I were to buy SBI it would be for their custom tools, web hosting, and easy to build sites.

While similar, SBI and Instant Adsense Templates are different and both can be very useful, depending on your goals. They could even be combined, because SBI allows you to upload your own code if you want to.
