Affiliate Marketing seems to be the easiest way to make money online now a days! The average person can spend some time, invest in a course or two and be able to supplement their full time income.

A real eye opening post, it’s easy to think of affiliate marketing and advertising income as the only way to make money online but there is so much more out there. I’m definitely going to take a look into domain flipping.

If i could add anything on affiliate marketing it would be to make sure you act on what you learn sooner rather than later, otherwise you end up with too many questions that stop you getting your feet wet. Read, then act, read, act and repeat.

well said George. There are plenty of opportunities to make money but the question is do you have the determination to look for money online? I asking this question because making money online is a very competitive business, without the determination you will not going anyway. Just a thought.

Hey George, nice summary of ways to make money online. I would like to add there is an important thing you forgot to mention to sell your own products. It’s super hard to be newbie on internet and start making loads of sells.

I think it’s important to expose your brand, so when somebody is gonna buy your product they will remember your face or logo, and that will create a sense of trust between you and your costumer.

Very good categorization. I manage to make money online by doing affiliate marketing and earn some advertising income. Now, i just bought a new website and will add in extra work of mine into it. This will be my first website flipping business. Hopefully i will be paid well for what i did.

Well said George. Making money does involve value addition and helping others get what they want. Many people forget about these 2 aspects & keep chasing money while loosing hard earned cash on advertising. I wish every newbie understands that eventually they need to create value to ever get paid

I haven’t really looked at that. I would think that a 50% share of the profits would be a fair asking price. Since you are acting sort of like a consignment shop that would be a good business to compare this to. Most consignors earn an average of 45% to 65% depending on the consignment shop. I personally would charge 50 percent (an even split).

Dave there are quite a few programs that teach you how to you flip sites and if you search for “how to flip websites” or similar terms you should find more information on it. I don’t have experience with this method of making money online, however it is appealing to me as well. I might write a more detailed post about how I would flip sites. Generally speaking you would want to buy a site with a lot of potential that hasn’t been properly monetized and/or promoted.

I like the idea of site flipping. I actually do some “house flipping” on the side, and have had some success with it. But, like you said sometimes the project gets too personal and you find it hard to part with. However, I must say once you see the money it is an easy part. I will have to look into the “site flipping” thing. Is there a certain site you look for? or style? and how much would one of these sites go for? and how much would they flip for?

Great info for start-ups, placing the ways of making money online into separate categories definetly helps to get a clear picture. It’s never easy in the beginning to decide which way to make money online. Good advice for those who want to start their business online would be to keep in mind all those sources and use as many of them as possible. Your poential customers might have more options to make you rich.
