We had all of our work done (including the insurance adjuster coming out) in the first few weeks after Ike. I know some people who are having issues though. We have found that the adjusters for TWIA have really tightened up, however companies such as Chubb still seem to be carrying their responsibility well. By the way, good call on the evac. The power going out when it did may have actually been a blessing in disguise because had it not gone out as soon as it had, you may have been stuck without any power in the worst part of the storm.
