That is interesting… the problem I see with it is that you leave a trail that is easy to follow. If you want to trade links on social bookmarking sites, it’s better to do it with an email group.

I have now written hundreds of articles and spread them across several article sites including ezinearticles.
What is a shame though, is how many external links leave each page. So you write an article but at least 100 links leave that page to other sites and pages within, so the 2 links you are allowed do not go that far.

Those are good methods of getting links, but article writing is one of the easiest methods, because you don’t have to do much work to continue to build links to your site over time.

Yep, Article marketing is still the workhorse method that will pay off. Whether it be eventually or instantly, depending on the article I believe (its quality etc) you will strike with this marketing method. Thanks for your insight and post

I have used articles to great effect for tight niches where you can focus the articles on the content of your website. When people arrive at your site they should get what they were looking for – i.e. more of what they were looking for.

Nice technique to get one way backlinks.Writing articles and sending to article directories is better than asking other webmasters for link exchange.This method is time saving and much more powerful for one way backlinks

I use EzineArticles.com too, though I’m submitting to it lately with a blaster service called SubmitYOURArticle. I’m using articles with my new sales letter site, and just converted one of my reports to rebrandability to help drive traffic.

Hi Ryan your exactly right with this. My site has a PR3 rating and is now getting some good listings in search and that is without ONE reciporcal link. One way links are much better. I have also written over 150 high quality articles and the links I get from these are excellent and they are all one way. the best site on the web is http://www.ezinearticles.com for this, I should know as I’ve used over 100 article directories and most are rubbish. great article
