My Meeting With Wendy Piersall Of SparkPlugging

Written by George Manty  · April 25, 2008

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of meeting Wendy Piersall of Sparkplugging (formerly eMoms at Home). It was a real pleasure to meet with her in person after being online friends for about a year now.

Wendy is very altruistic and would love to help everyone work from home. She recently made major changes to her blog and even changed the domain name from to She has done amazing things with her blog and I highly recommend you go check it out.

I may talk more about some of the things we discussed at a later point in time, but the main thing I took away from meeting Wendy is that she sincerely wants to help people learn how to work from home for a living.

Before I go, here is a picture of the two of us from earlier this week:

It was Soooooo great to meet you George! Your kids are adorable and it was very cool to get to know you better.

I know I owe you an email about your question you sent over the other day. I’m still swamped in messages, but I’ll be sure to get through them all when I do my Monday Motivation. šŸ˜‰

Thanks for coming out and talk soon!

I think it’s great to meet people we only know online. I have a couple of people that I have met and worked with online over the past 7 years and I look forward to meeting them in the next year or two.

I would have already met some of them but my health has kept me very close to home for the past few years. That’s improving and I plan to escape my home shortly. šŸ™‚

I have just started reading your content but I have been following Wendy for a while and enjoy her content.

I have you both in my Bloglines so I can see what’s new daily.

@Wendy – No rush on the email. The question isn’t time sensitive. Talk with you later…

@James Mann – Hope your health improves soon. I agree about meeting people for real. It’s so much better talking with someone in person. That’s why next year I plan on attending a few conferences to meet more of my online friends in person and meet new people.

Your blog looks nice. I will add it to my bloglines account as well.
