Word of mouth is a fantastic way of getting people to check out what you are offering. As far as where you live, I don't see where that would be the basis of a successful business. Not when it's an internet business. You put your sites out there all over the world and adsense ads are being seen. People should do well at recruiting no matter where they live. I agree with Matt. As long as an advertising program is good then people are sure to talk about it with other webmasters and such. I just think its a bit unfair how they seem to have based the success on the program on your location. I'm sure there are some very successful Adsense referrers based in the UK alone who won't be too happy at Google's decision. Yes, that is a fair point George. I am surprised they have not come up with a better affiliate system. Albeit, they don't really need to pay others to promote it when everyone talks about it for free.
