All of us have different strengths, different passions, different personality types. We all have different “callings”. We are not all clones! Not everybody is suited for running a successful online business. Some of you are better suited to make money with Real Estate, some with the stock market, some with futures trading and, perish the thought, but many of us are meant to make money in non-business related industries (actors, athletes, artists…). Sure you can make money online in these niches, but you don’t have to if it doesn’t suit your personality.
However, if you are well-suited for making money online and you want to make money online then the perfect way to make money online is YOUR WAY! Not your friend’s way, not the blogger who tells you that their way is the best way ever, not the guru that tells you he/she has the perfect system to make money online…

Great tips. Play to your own strenghts. People who basically say, “this is how I make money online, FYI, take from it what you will,” are great people to listen to and learn about. People who say, “Hey this is the perfect system for anyone,” are most likely selling something, and there is a good chance it won’t live up to the hype. People who say “this is my strength, that is your strength, can these two strengths work together? If so let’s partner so we can help each other!” are the types you should get to know better.

Really good points. I have learned a lot of “systems”, and they didn’t all sound fun to me. In fact, some just sounded plain boring. No way could I stick with a money making system that I didn’t like…
This is so true, so many new bloggers are trying to be the next John Chow or Darren Rowse, when they just need to be them selves and do it their way.

George I agree with you, in my encounters of dealing with trying to be successful online you really need to have a passion for what opportunity you are involved in. Also there is a lot of dishonesty when to comes to actual number being stated by the marketing gurus. A lot of information and procedures are not for the masses. Look at this so called “JV” strategy. There is no way that the hand picked gurus, that fellowship with each other are going to introduce your product or idea. I have tryed to place relevant information in front of people, give them a chance to see whether it is a good fit for them, if not it’s best for them to move on…

I love making money my way. I am not suited to make money online full time but I love doing it part-time. Maybe one day I’ll find my niche and transition that way.

This is a good point. when I first tried to make money online I read lots of ebooks on how everyone else was doing it and tried to emulate them. Now I have found my own way and am working part time online and loving it.
This is a great topic. What many people do not realize is you can make money online but you must stay focused and not jump from one idea to another. I know I have been quilty of this hopping around myself. Just find your passion and keep working at it.
