Which Web 2.0 Site Gives You The Most Traffic?
Written by George Manty · September 4, 2007
I hope those of you in the States had a nice labor day vacation yesterday. To get back into the swing of things, I wanted to find out what web 2.0 social media sites have been giving you the best traffic.
Personally, the best traffic I have ever received from a social media site was when this blog was on the front page of Netscape for over a week. Probably second to that would be my stumbleupon traffic.
What about you?
Let me know by answering the poll below and feel free to leave comments!

PS. I will share the results with you next week.
PPS. I have been ultra busy with a few things (like getting my car fixed again…), which is why I haven’t written much since last Thursday. That will change by the end of this week.
I see you have myspace up there to vote on…
By looking back at my records myspace produced little to no traffic [ from my page to my site ].
netscape gave me a lot but have had problems with being banned.
digg, more of readers but less than netscape,
and for blink, tech, redit, well my records show almost zip…
sturgent,
Interesting. Guess you haven’t had much luck with these. You should try stumbleupon.
for me it’s about even between 3 differant sites. The numbers are only off by 10 or less visitors each week, so I could have voted on 3 differant ones. I voted on Stumble because while it’s only a few vistors higher, it is the one that gets me the most traffic.
My top 3 are:
#1 Stumble
#2 MySpace
#3 Squidoo
EelKat,
Interesting response. I am a bit surprised that MySpace is in the lead, but on one of my sites I get tons of myspace traffic and I don’t know why.
well voted for stumble upon bubba
I have used all of these traffic building sources but think that social bookmarking like Digg work best.
All of these work for me except myspace.
