@Andrea,

My wife just noticed that I didn't answer your question. I really thought I had answered your question. Anyway, here is the answer...

I think the product launch formula is suited for EVERY niche. It is based on basic product launch principles that companies have been using for a long, long time. Jeff is just the first person to put together a system that works REALLY well online AND tell others about it.

I have not set the launch date yet. I have run into some roadblocks that I did not expect. At this point I think it will be in October, although I was originally targeting late September. Unfortunately, it looks like the end of October is much more likely. I may also have to scale back the launch to get it out before the end of October. I will have a better idea in a few weeks.

Thanks for asking,
George

@ Robin,
I might submit it to an article directory. I haven't really thought about that. Thanks for the kind words.

@eProduct Planner
That's a really good idea. I have several other projects lined up right now, but if any of them fall through, I may add that to the list.

George, wow, what a great article and you should definitely expand on this and sell it as a product creation step blueprint.

Great post. You have wrote down whole steps of online business. Why not submitted to article directories, I'm sure you can get a large amount of reaction, and get many links to your site. Good tips!

George,

My head was in pain reading this list. Very very thorough!!

I actually have written and completed an ebook, but stuck somewhere on your list. Need to look through my database for Yaniks sales letters.. I know I have it somewhere..

Regarding Jeff Walkers product launch... you think that it IS relevant outside the IM world or specifically tailored to it? His name has been associated with some of the launches I have succumbed to and purchased :) - dont know how that hype would translate in other 'niches' not surrounding get rich quick!

So when is your product going to be complete?

Good point. It's always best to be one of the first ones around in your market. If you aren't first, be second. Don't be number 1001!

Hmm, interesting.

I think another good thing is to 'get in while it's hot'. I started my business back when it was 'hot' and it still sustains itself today. My friends have tried making the same type of business (with lower prices) with no success whatsoever.

The hosting market, which is where my business is, is very dry. Not even worth it if you're looking to start up now. The prices have gotten so low in the past couple of years that if you don't have a reputation, you don't have anything.
