Excellent counter to Google’s position on paid links. Found via Andy Beard. The truth of the matter is that the Search Engines have to come up with a revolutionary way to rank sites. The current methods won’t be acceptable five years from now.

Chris Garret’s series has been really good reading all week. If you haven’t kept up, then start with the article above and work your way through the series.

Long Overdue Praise For PayPerPost
John Reese wrote an excellent post on PayPerPost on his new blog. My favorite part was when John says:

Update on Me
Interesting update on Amanda’s blogging income. I haven’t tried any of the review systems, but Amanda’s post makes me think that I could make a fairly decent amount of money doing paid website reviews.

I have to say the link to John Reese is amazing.

I have over 170 dollars waiting to be paid out to me on my sponsoredreview thing its hard to get people to pay you what you deserve since they get to cherry pick but its a good program. I’m not too fond of payperpost since its overflooded and you feel like you dont get a chance and they take 30 days to pay you for each individual post. I like smorty and sponsored review since they are faster.

If payperpost was faster I think I would use it more.

I have never heard of smorty.

smorty is brand new, but they pay you within 7 days and i’ve gotten every payment so far.

I’ve done 2 reviewme’s they are both market place so it wasn’t someone purchasing it was up for grabs. The only problem with review me is they need to put more exposure for the little guys too :
