Daniel,

I would be interested as well. I just don't see MyBlogLog as the best way to drive long term traffic to a blog.

It doesn't hurt, but I don't see it as being a great traffic tactic.

George, interesting facts.

I would be very interested to discover what kind of traffic the guys mentioned on the Top 50 communities get from the Mybloglog site.

The thing I dont get about that service in fact is how you can leverage traffic. For digg you know you need to hit the front page, same for delicious, but what for mybloglog?

It could be a fad. It's hard to tell. It will be interesting to see what Yahoo does with it over the next year.

I have a feeling MyBlogLog is more of a fad than anything. All the cool kids are doing it, so everyone else is jumping on. Hell, I threw it up on 2 of my blogs. Not much in the way of traffic, and it adds clutter to my sidebar. I'll leave it for awhile to see if anything develops, but I won't hold my breath.

I really don't know much about MyBlogLog, but I do agree that if you want your visitors to continue to come back to your website having good content is a must. Without content that is updated on a regular basis, your visitors have no reason to return to your website. This is especially true for a blog.

The debate seems to go on about which is more important, traffic or content. I can only say this, what good is more traffic if there is nothing there that is worth seeing.
