Instant Adsense Templates Released – What are My Thoughts?
Written by George Manty · July 5, 2006
I hope everyone here in the States had a happy fourth (we did). Last night, we went out in the rain and shot of fireworks with the kids. I will never forget the expression on my four year old son’s face when he told me how much fun he was having. Not only was he getting to watch us light fireworks, but he was also getting to play in the rain. What could be better than that? Kids are amazing!
Anyway, I wanted to let you know that Joel Comm’s Instant Adsense Templates are out. Here are my latest thoughts on the templates:
- The price is great for the first 1000, and ok for the second 1000 people.
- Since 2000 people are getting these templates you will definitely need to change the content that is provided.
- This is excellent for people who are not very web savvy and/or less creative and/or want to get some free content.
- They are going to sell out fast.
If I buy the templates I would use them almost strictly for the content. I might wind out using a few of the blog or forum templates, but for the most part I would take the 2,413 pages of content, change it and create a blog or website with it.
I don’t think these templates are for everyone. I think that you MUST change the content in the templates to get your best use of them. You will also want to add some additional content and find a way to make your site unique (maybe by providing a free forum, blog or something else to go along with the website).
That said, I am seriously considering purchasing the Adsense templates for my personal use. I can see how they would come in handy and the early bird 197 dollar price is very hard to beat. I don’t think they are for everybody, but I can see some good ways that I could put them to use. Obviously, if I buy them I am not going to want to give away too much about what I do with them. But in general I would take the content alter it slightly, add to it and create a new site and/or ebook with the content.
Anyway, those are my initial thoughts on the templates, based both on the sales letter and my sneak peek at some of the templates. You can click here to see the sales page for yourself.

Just thought I’d add this post from their forum.
So everyone else got the latest fairy story from infomedias magic kingdom. Supposedly the delay was caused by people changing addresses, why on earth should this affect peoples delivery who didn’t change their address. The really annoying thing is being lied to. Last thurs Joel said our packages were being picked up on thurs night.
“Just heard from the fulfillment center… all orders placed on Tuesday and Wednesday are being picked up by UPS and Fedex TONIGHT… so they are on the way. Now that we have things working properly, the shipments will continue to go out steadily.
thanks for your patience… dealing with product launches is stressful! I want nothing more than to overdeliver and have product in your hands instantly… I won’t bore you with the reasons that it doesn’t always go that way.
But rest assured we are working very hard in your best interests
Joel ”
Why did he say this if he knew there was a delay due to address changes. Next I have received several replies before today from support telling me different reasons why there is a delay. None of them mentioned this current delay but gave other reasons. Again why did they tell us this if the reason was address changes.
Here is Jeff C’s timeline which is pretty typical.
Here is my timeline:
1 – Tuesday, October 10th at 8:59PM PST I placed my order. I got my invoice with an order number right away.
2 – Thursday, October 12th credit card charge processed via PayPal.
3 – Friday, October 13th received my shipping confirmation with a new order number and a tracking number. Said tracking information would be available after 5PM CST.
4 – Saturday, October 14th submitted trouble ticket. Got a reply saying I needed to wait for 24 hours before seeing it show at UPS.
5 – Saturday, October 14th submitted 2nd trouble ticket after waiting the 24 hours from shipping notification. Got a reply saying “Please check with UPS on Monday, if this has not resolved by then , please contact us immediately!”
6 – Monday, October 16th called UPS rep and was told that they had no information on that tracking number which means it has never been scanned into the system. That packages are typically scanned in when they arrive at the UPS shipping location. She also told me that I should have the shipper contact them to start an investigation.
7 – Monday, October 16th submitted 3rd trouble ticket.

The only difference with mine is I placed the order in the first hour of release.
It is very worrying that UPS are basically saying that the order numbers don’t exist.
Latest update: Just tried my new tracking number. Surprise surprise it doesn’t work either.
Joel what is going on? Please respond. I have tried your support several times but they just seem to be fobbing me off.
What do you think of this?
I can understand how that could be frustrating.
However, I know of people who ordered them last time and recieved them without any problems.
I recommend that you just have a little patience. I have waited much longer for other products to be delivered.
Thats a usual thing. Usually its delayed for 1 months. Disgusting customer service. Thats why i’m not playing with them anymore.
