I'm not sure if it came across in my comment above, but I do think you're doing a pretty good job of differentiating yourself from most of the other "make money online" sites/blogs. Your articles are useful, interesting, and thought provoking. I especially love reading the ones where you talk about specific results, or strategies for new or existing sites.

It might take some time, but cream always rises to the top and I think you'll continue to enjoy growing traffic. One of these days one of your articles will go viral and you'll really take off!

Interesting. It does help some. I have to say that I see more traffic from posting more often, however I do think you are much more likely to get repeat traffic because of quality.

I may write about this tomorrow.

I think the best way to be remarkable in this niche is to offer something more useful than what most others have. Don't just post links to WordPress plugins, internet marketing ebooks, etc. Don't just give really basic advice like "blog regularly, use trackbacks, write top-ten lists, choose a topic you love, experiment with Adsense placement/colors, blah, blah, blah".

The posts of yours that I really, really like are the ones where you give details. I like to read about actual projects, what was involved, how things worked out, what you'd do differently next time. And real numbers are great - how much traffic you got, how much turnover/profit the project brought in, what it cost you in dollars and in hours. Those are also the posts I enjoy over on ProBlogger.

If most of your posts are about the same plugins/products/ebooks/courses/sites that everyone else is covering, then you're just cluttering up my RSS reader and I'm going to skip your posts because I've already seen it everywhere else. Eventually I'll probably unsubscribe to try to reduce the duplication and sheer volume of incoming posts.

You can still talk about the same new products etc as everyone else, but rather than just announcing them and linking to them, show your readers how you're using them yourself. Tell us how they helped you, how they made a difference in your business, and describe exactly what we can expect to get out of them. Day-by-day case studies are great, and they'll get me clicking back every morning for the next update.

If your posts are unique, informative, detailed, and based in real-world experience, I'll read every single one of them. I don't care if you only post once or twice a week, you'll stay in my "useful feeds" list.

I hope this helps!
