Linking up the blogs helps with that, submitting them to directories helps. Linking to them from our related sites that already have high page rank helps. Trading blogroll links with other blogs helps. The financial success of the blogs varies from month to month. A lot of factors go into it. Our best month we hit over 3000 dollars. In a normal month we make around $400. However, we haven't spent enough time yet promoting some of our blogs. This summer we are focusing on some other businesses, but we will also work on promoting some of our better monetized blogs. In general the web is less active in the Summer, so this is a good time for us to work on getting these other two sites up and running. We have a really cool thing planned for our Summer Olympics Blog, which should really help get it off the ground. The bottom line is we need more consistent traffic to our blogs to make the kind of money we want to make. We know how to get the traffic, it's just a matter of time. And lastly, some of our blogs may be retired due to lack of interest (both from visitors and us). But that's ok, we would rather focus on what people are interested in, than what they aren't. I can't remember which Internet Marketing guru that I listen to that said this (I keep up with a bunch of them), but one of them said something along the lines of: "If you make your goal way more than what you need to live from then even if you only get part way to your goal, you are still making a good living." If I make it half way to my goal, I will be making a good living. However, I still intend to make it to my goal and beyond. Thank you for the wishes Elizabeth.
