Make Big Money Online Top

About Last Night

March 14, 2006

Last night my brother-in-law came over to discuss some details with my wife and I about starting a possible LLC together. It sounds to me like a really good oppurtunity. I would not be a partner, my wife would own 50% of the business and then Paul and his wife would would split ownership of the other half. However, I would help out with the web promotion and design aspects of the business, as well as, the government contract part of the business. While this business would have an online aspect to it, the real money would come from other sources (government and industrial contracts).

I will keep you updated on this even though it doesn’t have so much to do with making money online. Who knows, we could be wrong and it’s online presence could pull in more of the money. Time will tell…

Oh, and in other news there has been a bug going around our house, so I may not post that often this week.

What to look forward to on this blog

March 9, 2006

I wanted to let you know what you can look forward to seeing on this blog in the next several months.

I am planning on continuing to keep you up to date on my businesses. This week I am spending a little less time on my businesses. Next week, I plan on focusing on promoting our new American Idol Blog and continuing to post the contents of my website promotion book.

I also planning on writing some posts on what I learned from our winter olympics blogging exerience.

Additionally, because of the results of my poll I am strongly considering starting to write a series on ways to may money online. Just wanted to give you a quick update on things.

Three more blogs are ready

March 6, 2006

I just set up three more blogs.

We have a new blog to cover the tv show american idol:

We bought the domain onourtv so we could put up multiple blogs covering tv shows we watch. For the time being we are only covering American Idol.

Also, I just finished setting up the winter olympics and summer olympics blogs:

So that makes a total of 12 blogs (11 active). We don’t have plans to create any new blogs for a while. Except we will be creating one for our oldest (12 year old) son Matthew.

For most of the blogs Jill will be doing the writing and I will work on promoting them. I also have some work to do on our other sites and I plan on looking at other oppurtunities. However, for the next several months, blogging and promoting blogs will take up a large percentage of the time that I spend on my businesses.

Jill now has her own personal blog

March 3, 2006

It’s not really for money, it’s for fun. Just a place for her to write about whatever she wants to.

Jill enjoys blogging and just thought it would be fun to have a personal blog as well. You can check it out by clicking here.

Jill on Front Page of Washington Post

March 3, 2006

Jill’s quote got on the front page of the Washington post today, in an article titled “Spotting Trends in Blog Buzz “. You can go directly to the article here. Note: You may have to register to see the article.

We’ll see if this helps our traffic. They didn’t list any of her sites, but people might search for her in the Search Engines. It’s still pretty cool.

UPDATE: The story has been picked up by a bunch of news outlets. So if you don’t want to register, you can go to MSNBC by clicking here to view the article.

Our total profits are…

March 1, 2006

I just calculated the total profits so far from our Olympics blog, and the total is…

Most of that was made this month and not all of it was from Adsense. During the Olympics, it was averaging between $100 and $200/day of total profit.

In the near future I will be writing about the top things I learned from this experience. In the meantime, I am busy creating several new blogs for my wife, including some geared towards tv shows we really enjoy and a personal blog for Jill. The personal blog probably won’t make much money, but I think that people will really enjoy reading it, because Jill is such a good writer and Jill will really enjoy writing on it. It won’t really be about the money, but who knows maybe she will earn some money from it as well.
