Make Big Money Online Top

Ebay Affiliate Money

Written by George Manty  · September 1, 2005

Someone asked me how I make money from eBay. So I wanted to give you a quick overview.

The main method I have used to make money online from eBay is by running Google Adwords with my affiliate link. After Google changed it’s terms of service so that only one affiliate ad for the same domain could be run per campaign, it became much more difficult to make money from this. I am still running a few campaigns doing this and they do make money. However, when you do this you need to keep in mind the following things:

1. Run your ads for the minimum bid (5 cents)
2. Keep a close eye on the campaign, make sure the EPC (earnings per hundred clicks) is above 5.00, otherwise you will be losing money.
3. Be sure to write good and relevant copy for the campaign.
4. Target focused keywords, rather than general keywords.
5. Use eBay’s flexible destination tool to create a direct link to the products you are running the campaign for.

Currently, the way I make the most money from eBay is through the dinosaur toy store on our dinosuar site. Go check out how we are displaying the ads, using the eBay Editor kit.

That pretty much answers the question,
“How do you make money from eBay as an eBay affiliate?”

Please feel free to send in more questions.

I do a similar thing with electronics and computer items on my site, I just need a way to market the site better to get more exposure. But I do like the idea with the Dinosaur site, I will follow that idea with a popular item or type of items soon….

Glad that helped. I just took a look at your site and I think your site is an ideal candidate for Chitika eMiniMalls. I just posted about them here (http://www.canimakebigmoneyonline.com/

As far as getting traffic, posting useful comments on blogs is a good start. I wish you great success with your business endeavors and hope this blog proves useful to you.

    Best regards,
    George
